I’m not quite sure what to say about myself that will sound interesting, but I’ll try anyway.

I’ve always written in some form or another. Nothing major, most times, just poems or short inspirational pieces. The poems were, as most probably are, written when I was feeling a particularly strong emotion.

The inspirational pieces were much the same. They were mainly just pages written to define what certain words meant to me; Love, Faith, Hope, etc.. I was going to post a few of those on the site somewhere, but I had harddrive crash ages ago and I didn’t have backup copies like I had hoped.

Let’s see. I love, love, love reading. Some of my favorite authors include, but are not limited to; Nora Roberts/JD Robb, Linda Howard, Sharon Sala, JK Rowling (Yes, I’m a shameless Harry Potter fan) and Catherine Coulter. While I like the usual sweet romance stories, I tend to favor those with more action, more paranormal elements in them.

My stories, for the most part, will probably always have some paranormal element to them, even if it’s only something small.

So why do I write? It’s a good question, and it seems to be the normal answer for most authors. I write because I love reading. I love reading a story and looking up only to discover that hours have gone by. I love knowing that if I’m having a bad day that I can read and forget about my troubles for a while. I think when an author can make you forget about your worries, for even just a little while, that they have accomplished something miraculous. So, that’s exactly what I hope to accomplish. I want my words to be someone else’s escape, if only for a few minutes.
